(#10) shoot for the moon 🥑
My inner space nerd has been resurrected.
(Fittingly enough, it happened on the week of Easter.)
If you haven’t heard, the Artemis II launch has brought humans closer to the moon than they’ve been in over 50 years.
And on Monday, April 6, the crew of the Orion traveled farther from Earth than any human has gone before. Ever.
Isn’t that amazing?
Even though I’m more of a fantasy guy these days, I’m also a space camp alumnus.
I built LEGO space modules and participated in mock shuttle missions.
I begged my parents (successfully) to get me a blue NASA flight suit.
And don’t get me started on the sheer number of Star Wars or Halo novels I’ve consumed.
Why has space had such an impact on me? I think it’s the wonder and possibility of out there, a limitless expanse that no amount of sci-fi stories or very real space exploration can contain.
It’s the same thing I love about editing my clients’ books. (Nice segue, dude.)
Possibility spaces suck me in faster than the speed of light.
I want to explore the world you’ve created. I want to love it. I want to think about it long after I’ve turned off my laptop.
If that’s the kind of story you write, this email is for you.
Because I’m offering 10% off line or copy edits for authors who book in April and May.
Got questions about right writing rites? Reply to this email with your query; I might include it in a future Bite.
